I have been going on group treks for quite a while now and WBA is my one of the top favorites! I went with them last year on the Rohil Valley trek and this year on the Manaslu Circuit Trek. A big shout out to the entire team of Ankit, John, Sneha, Chattan, Avtar. Ankit's enthusiasm towards the mountains and flora and fauna is very inspiring. The group size is also kept small which helps everyone to get to know each other. The guides are also very well trained and equipped to handle all kind of unforeseen situations. If you go on a trek with WBA, you are definitely going to come back with a lot of good memories! Their catalog of treks is quite offbeat and you wouldn't find anyone else doing them. For offbeat, less crowded, group treks in the Himalayas, look no further! WBA should be your choice.
Words wouldn’t do justice to the experience I have had with the WB team, 5 stars are not enough. They all have been going that extra mile to make sure we all enjoy the experience, keeping in mind how conscious Ankit is about the environment. Our home stay with the locals has left a long lasting impression on my heart, humbling me. Introducing us to local food and culture.The beautiful campsite to mouth smacking food so that we do not miss home. There is so much to write and time & google does not permit me but it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life and just when I was about to hang my trekking boots. Wandering Boots are way ahead of their competitors in providing exceptionally good quality pre and during trek experience so much so that once you trek with them they would spoil you (in a good way☺️) and you would not want to trek with anyone else in future. WBA organised a 7 day trek in the Singalila National Forest all the way to Phalut to see Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Mt Everest and Lhotse.The team was simply fantastic in the way the Team leader Akanksha and her team of Tenzing, Avatar, Buddha and Mohan took care of us. We had the most delicious food piping hot, with clean beds and they managed to accommodate all our requests. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make this a most memorable adventure!
My 5th trek with Wandering Boots, and it’s been memories for a lifetime. It’s been a while since I’ve known Ankit Naithani, the face of Wandering Boots alongwith his whole team. From learning the basic hiking techniques to becoming a mountain lover, it’s a dream come true. The whole team has a passion which is so infectious and my boots have become precious. I hope to do more treks in the days to come, with wandering boots on my side!
Traveled with Wandering Boots on their Dodital Dayara Bugyal trek in March. I have been with several hiking groups but this one stands out. They are exceptional in all aspects. They have excellent guides who are trained for emergencies. They provide the necessary gear. Their food and campsite arrangement is excellent. The group size is small so you can enjoy the mountains without the crowd. They also make sure you have an enjoyable time. Highly, highly recommended.

As someone who's done more than 3 treks with them, I can vouch for the quality of experience they deliver. A group of 4 of us opted for the ice mountaineering training between 02 Feb to 09 Feb. Although some members were experienced mountaineers none of us had any formal training in these particular technical skills. The session was tailored extremely well and was progressively intensive. The pre program brief and hand holding was quite detailed. The actual program was done with excellent personalization and all techniques were adequately demonstrated and opportunity provided for application of the same. The pace was decent and there were a total of 7 instructors available throughout the program all of who were very professional. The stay and transportation arrangements were seamless. Looking forward to doing some more treks with them at some point again.
My deepest appreciation and gratitude for the incredible experience curated by WBA. Dharansi Pass was my third trek with WBA in the last one year. Doing it with WBA made this trek truly special and a lifetime experience. First of all, we were privileged and blessed to have got the chance to trek with the complete CORE GROUND team (Ankit, John, Chattan, Avtar and Akash). Every member is unique in their own way. WBA stands out in outdoor adventures for many reasons (comfort amidst the wilderness, safety above everything, personalized attention, great facilitators) They are a one stop solution for folks who are truly passionate about outdoors and want to get in depth of outdoors. Once you start trekking with them, it’s tough to settle for some other adventure organizations. They have really set the bar high.
Wandering Boots is a badass facilitator team. Not only do they create a safe space for you to be your own self, they also ensure that there is something to take back home through an enriching experience. When it comes to learning, they are no nonsense and (brutally) honest educators with vast and genuine experience in the outdoors. If you are serious about getting into the outdoors (especially as a working professional) and want to learn, practice or improve related skills, it would definitely be a great idea to stick with these people over a longer period of time.
In the last couple of years I've had the opportunity to climb with multiple trekking companies of India (some big names included). And I can confidently state that WBA is ahead of the pack by at least a mile. My first trek with WBA was Goechala in 2022 followed by Kang Yatse in 2023. What was common during both treks was their highly competent team who were hyper-focussed on safety, the one thing that you truly need on a high altitude trek. The food was really good, and fellow trekkers were even better. WBA team has done an amazing job at creating & maintaining an organization that feels like home ❤️
