In the heart of Kumaon Himalayas in Uttarakhand lies the lesser-known, captivating Pindari Valley trek. This trek takes you through a variety of landscapes – dense mountain forests to rugged trails, and pristine alpine meadows. About the Area: 
Kumaon is a region in the state of Uttarakhand, along with the Garhwal region. The Kumaon n region has been ruled by several Hindu dynasties over the course of history; most notably the Katyuris and the Chands.  It was established in 1816, when the British reclaimed this region from the Gorkhas. The people of Kumaon are known as Kumaonis and speak the Kumaoni language. The hill town Nainital is its administrative centre.

Day 4: Trek from Jatoli (8,036 ft) to Kathaliya (10,660 ft);
Trek distance: 13 kms; Trek time: 7-8 hours

Day 5: Trek from Kathaliya (10,660 ft) to Maiktoli Base camp (12,628 ft) and back to  Kathaliya (10,660 ft); 
Trek distance: 8 kms; Trek time: 5-6 hours

Day 6: Trek from Kathaliya (10,660 ft) to Baluni Top (12,513 ft);
Trek distance: 7 km; Trek time: 5-6 hours

Day 7: Trek from Kathaliya (10,660 ft) to Jaitoli (8,036 ft);
Trek distance: 8 km; Trek time: 4-5 hours

Day 8: Trek from Jaitoli to Kharkiya via Khati.

Day 9: Drive from Bageshwar to Dehradun
Drive time: 8-9 hours
Trek ends on reaching Dehradun

• Backpack offloading charges. You are expected to carry your own backpack. Trekkers unable to do so can opt for a porterage service at ₹400/day.
